Product of the Week: Aladdin eCycle

Since 1908 Aladdin’s lifestyle products have accompanied children to school and professionals to work. The sleek, stylish and sustainable products range from coffee cups and water bottles to lunch boxes and food storage containers. Aladdin’s eCycle products contain 95 percent recycled plastics, of which 25 percent is post consumer content.

For those who prefer recycled plastic water bottles, Aladdin’s recycled and recyclable water bottles are a great alternative to aluminum and stainless steel. The bottles have a unique pattern and come in three colors: lily (lavender), lake (blue) and chalkboard (black). These 16-ounce water bottles cost $7.99 each. The bottles are lightweight, fun and very stylish.

The bisphenol A (BPA)-free bottles are made with 90 percent recycled food grade polypropylene, a synthetic resin, which contains 22.5 percent post-consumer content. The lid, however, is made from virgin materials.  

Ditching plastic lunch bags is simple and economical with Aladdin’s recycled and recyclable snack containers. From the same line as the water bottles, the 10-ounce snack containers come in the same three colors. Made from 100 percent recycled food grade polypropylene, which contains 25 percent post-consumer content, these containers great for the planet too. Its smart and slim design allows two containers to fit snugly together in a lunch pale. The two-way lid can fold to the side of the container for easy snacking. The snack containers cost $6.99.
