Watermelon Barbecue Marinade
Makes 3/4 cup

Try this delicious alternative to traditional barbecue sauce this summer season.

1/2 cup watermelon purée
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced red chile, optional

Stir together all the ingredients and let the tofu, vegetables or meats marinate for several hours in the refrigerator before grilling.
