It’s no secret that paraffin wax candles emit dangerous compounds when burned, dirtying your home’s indoor air quality and affecting your health. Don’t burn toxic candles! Opt for a clean-burning candle made from soy, beeswax or palm wax. The wicks are made from cotton and contain no lead, zinc or other heavy metals that will spew into the air upon burning. Because GoodLight Natural Candles were originally developed for commercial settings, many of their products come in bulk as well as more reasonable-sized packages for home settings. Prices range from $2 for a six-pack of tea lights to $240 for a bulk box of 48 pillar candles. GoodLight’s products are packaged in recycled material printed with soy-based inks.
